Have you seen those ads on the internet? You know the ones that profess that you can make 5 or 10 thousand dollars a month for doing nothing. Ya right, if it were only that easy to build a Home Based Business Opportunity. While there may be an ample amount of businesses and/or programs to choose from, included in that are all the scams that people get caught up in. As a matter of fact, maybe there are too many opportunities to make a informed decision. Personally I get tired of all the hype and lies out there on the internet. To the new and inexperienced person, it can be information overload for them.
By far the biggest problem right now with the internet is filtering through the hype and lies for starting a home based business opportunity. The misconception that any and all can become instant millionaires is just dangerous and misleading information, plus absolutely plain wrong. There are tons of gullible people on the Internet and they are all jumping on the band wagon without much thought. The problem is that the scammer knows there are gullible people out there and that is exactly what his target audience is, people who will jump in without too much thought. If people don’t make money fast enough, it’s easy, just join another program. They become whats known in the industry as an MLM junkie. Sounds funny and yes it is, but seriously look at any person involved in network marketing for a few years and many will have done multiple programs. No thought is wasted on researching the opportunity and/or business. The promise of riches made by the unscrupulous opportunities are very unfortunate, but if you take the time to think about it, if it were all true, wouldn’t we all be rich? The reality is a small percentage of people will be successful. In fact the estimates are around only 5 percent will be successful to be able to work full time at it.
The reality is, people will get taken advantage of and fall for the wrong programs. Most people have a lottery mentality and want instant riches, rather than working for it. Usually they are the same people that I call gullible. It’s really a terrible combination and again, these are the prey of the scams and shady programs. These people usually start out with the thought of a home based business opportunity, but have absolutely no idea where to begin.
Have you ever heard the term for exercise, no pain – no gain. Well the same can be said in the home based business world. If you don’t work hard, then don’t expect success. In the beginning it will take time, it will take money, it will take dedication and a lot of hard work.
